I designed this pied-a-terre in 2011 for this exquisite client.  We moved walls and updated the plumbing, the electric and the HVAC before we even started the project.  We expanded every room we could.  Bigger closets and bigger bathrooms.  Then we laid this pretty sandy, creamy marble all the way through this very special gem.  An exquisite Downsview kitchen was installed with pretty pink mink cabinets.  The stone we found for the counters matched the mink finish of the cabinets perfectly and the mink color Avonite for backsplash.  Pink mink!  We started with this stair step molding and then we put LED PUC lighting in the best step of the molding so the lighting would wash over her son's photographs perfectly.  We used 3000 LED so it would have a nice warm glow for ambiance at night.  Truly one of my favorite accessories are doors!  We framed out every opening and put in gorgeous doors perfectly selected for each opeing and all new hurricane windows.  Soft coastal hues throughout and beautiful original modern pieces.  Perfect for this 1956 revival!
